17 [a]Now unto the king everlasting, immortal, invisible, unto God [b]only wise, be honor, and glory, for ever, and ever, Amen.

18 [c]This commandment commit I unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies, which went before upon thee, that thou [d]by them shouldest fight a good fight,

19 Having [e]faith and a good conscience, [f]which some have put away, and as concerning faith, have made shipwreck.
